INFINITY is a Brazilian soapstone . Although it is classified as a soft stone, it is characterized by low porosity, and therefore does not require impregnation. Soapstone is chemically inert and so it does not react with acid and is perfect for kitchen countertops. Soapstone doesn’t need to be resined . It looks best in a sandblasted finish. Any scratches can be easily removed using sandpaper. We use only mineral oil for maintenance. Soapstone is distinguished by its high heat transfer coefficiency, which makes it an excellent material for fireplaces.
